Funny because to me, they look more like plants. In fact, what they look exactly like to me are deep sea opium poppy plants transparent from being devoid of light and unable to photosynthesise.
Perhaps, these are CIA/MI6 infrared pictures of the Afghan opium plantations which they are raiding?
