One of the things I admire most about the Japanese is their ability to take some mundane, generic thing and turn it into a wacky, new fangled thing.

Today, we’re going to talk about dog chew toys. What’s the first thing that came to mind? Rope? Ball? Shoe? Bone? Look at what the Japanese have come up with: it’s less obtrusive and definitely a lot more entertaining!

Although supposedly a pacifier, I have never seen a dog actually want a pacifier. So I’ll call it a chew toy. And it comes in various “moods” too.

Judging from its shape and size, I would say that it works for babies too. Let’s check:
