With the launch of the new look TWOM, I have decided to hold the this special event to acknowledge the contributions made to this (very young) blog.
In no particular the categories and the winners are:
1. First blogroll mention: Repeatthesoundingjoy
Special thanks goes to repeatthesoundingjoy not only for being the first blogroll mention, but the first mention EVER.
2. First entry mention: jugglingcats
Jugglingcats has a very interesting blog, by the way.
3. Most refers: Boing boing
Lots of thanks going to Boing boing and the visitors from there. By commenting on their entry, visitors to my went from under 50 to more than 400 in less than 12 hours, with the first 300 coming in the first 4 hours! Most of them went to the toilet entry, though.
4. Longest fan: Ed
Ed’s been with the blog almost since the beginning and has been a regular (-ish) commentator at TWOM. I don’t know who you are or where you’re from, but who-, what-, wherever you are, Ed, thanks.
5. My dear partner, SC: who has been patient with me all through this time.
And thank you to all visitors and subscribers, past, present and future.
If you have any moans, complains or praises please pop it in the comment box or get in touch.
I’ve always really liked those old sweet shops, with shelves upon shelves of jars of sweets of all shapes and colours. Although I wouldn’t want to eat most of the sweets there (I never did anyway), I still like the look of it. And perhaps it’s the retro novelty that’s brought this sweet shop to London’s Soho. And they have a little van to go with it! How sweet (what pun?)

You add the bed… subtract the clothes… divide the legs…
leave your solution… and pray you don’t multiply!

a little more
loving someone is like good wine
a little bit, the wine smells like heaven
a little bit more you get tipsy
a little bit more you’re off your feet
being loved by someone is like good wine
a little bit, you feel good. you want more
a little bit more you cant resist it
a little more you lose your inhibition
love is like good wine
there can never be enough
love is like good wine
too much it leave you lifeless

Why have I unexpectedly written a poem?
You will never know true happiness
until you have truly loved,
and you will never understand
what pain really is
until you have lost it
