Do you even remember Atari?

Recently Atari, the games company, launched an ad campaign to apparently remind us that they gave us heck loads of fun and that we grew up with that and all that jazz. Whilst I used to spend days playing it, I honestly doubt that people are going to start buying their games now, which are made for others consoles, just because we’re reminded of the hours we spent on it when we were kids. Somethings just shouldn’t be brought back, but this cake is an exception. Brilliant, methinks. I’ve seen lots cakes of these sort before, but this one just takes the cake (oh ha ha).

Writing this post halfway I was “inspired” to go to the Atari website to see what’s going on and lo and behold! I found a goldmine of nostalgia. You can actually play the classics and my favourite – Centipede, on the website! The image below takes you there in a a new window.
